By using Ghost Margins, you agree to follow these Terms of Use and any applicable site rules.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login information secure. Accounts may not be used to impersonate others, harass users, or interfere with the operation of the site.

User Content

You retain ownership of the stories and other content you submit to Ghost Margins. By posting content, you give Ghost Margins permission to store, display, and distribute that content through the site as necessary to operate the service.

Content Rules

Ghost Margins allows a wide range of fictional content, including mature, explicit, dark, or controversial themes. Content must comply with applicable law and site rules. Fictional content will not be removed solely because another user finds its subject matter offensive or uncomfortable.

Visible Artwork

Book jackets, work banners, headers, and other visible artwork must be suitable for public display on a book shelf. Do not upload nudity or explicit sexual imagery, including exposed genitals or sexual acts. This rule applies to photographs, illustrations, and AI-generated images. Mature or explicit fiction is still permitted under the content rules, with accurate ratings and warnings.

Ratings and Warnings

Authors are responsible for selecting appropriate ratings, warnings, and other descriptive information for their works.

User Conduct

Users may not use comments, margin notes, profiles, reports, or other site features to harass, threaten, spam, impersonate, dogpile, disclose private information, evade moderation, or otherwise target other users.

Users may not repeatedly pressure authors to alter pairings, characterization, endings, ratings, tags, plots, or other creative choices. Criticism and disagreement are permitted, but targeted harassment, repeated demands, or attempts to control another user's creative work may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension, or account termination.

Solicitation and Scams

Do not use comments, margin notes, profiles, the Request Desk, or other site features for unsolicited paid art, cover-design, or other service pitches. Repeated sales messages, pressure to pay, deceptive offers, scam links, and impersonating artists are not allowed. Sharing your own artwork, crediting an artist, and discussing art when someone asks are welcome; those activities must not become unsolicited sales pitches.

Reports and Moderation

Reports are reviewed by site moderation. Submitting a report does not automatically result in content removal. Ghost Margins may remove content or restrict accounts when necessary to enforce these Terms, site rules, or applicable law.

Service Availability

Ghost Margins may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the site develops. The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Ghost Margins changes. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
